Rutherford named dean of Clinton School of Public Service Thursday, Apr 13, 2006 Arkansas News Bureau LITTLE ROCK - Skip Rutherford, chairman of the board of the William J. Clinton Foundation, was named dean of the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service on Wednesday. Rutherford, executive vice president of a Little Rock public relations firm, will begin his new job May 8, according to a news release. Rutherford replaces former U.S. Sen. David Pryor, who served as dean since the school opened in June 2004. Rutherford will step down as chairman of the Clinton Foundation but will remain on foundation's board. As chairman, Rutherford spearheaded a fund drive that raised $165 million to build Bill Clinton's presidential library. |
