Bush to be in Little Rock Wednesday Tuesday, Aug 29, 2006 Arkansas News Bureau LITTLE ROCK - President Bush is to honor a Sherwood woman for her work in helping people displaced by Hurricane Katrina during a visit to Little Rock on Wednesday. Joy Cameron, who in August 2005 helped organize a meal service program for hurricane victims who relocated to North Little Rock for temporary housing following the Hurricane Katrina, will be presented with the President's Volunteer Service Award at the Little Rock airport. Bush is scheduled to be in town to attend a fundraiser for Republican gubernatorial candidate Asa Hutchinson, a former federal Drug Enforcement Administration chief and Department of Homeland Security undersecretary in the Bush administration. The $500 per person luncheon is to be held at the home of former Arkansas Razorback and NBA basketball player Joe Kleine. |
