Arkansas Best declares dividend

LITTLE ROCK - The board of directors of Arkansas Best Corp. declared a quarterly cash dividend of 15 cents per share for its common stock Tuesday.

The dividend is payable on Feb. 20, 2007 to stockholders of record as of Feb. 6, 2007.

Arkansas Best Corp. consists of three primary subsidiaries, the biggest of which is ABF Freight System, which represents more than 90 percent of total corporate revenues.

Shares of Arkansas Best Corp. (NasdaqGS: ABFS) closed Tuesday at $38.56, up 7 cents.
