Acxiom partners with Oracle to offer data management product

LITTLE ROCK - Acxiom Corp.'s latest partnership will be with Oracle Corp. of Redwood Shores, Calif., the two data management companies announced Monday.

The joint product will couple Acxiom's consumer data with Oracle's master data management product, which organizes disparate systems and lines of business into one central data repository.

The coupling will allow businesses to better understand their customers and increase sales and marketing effectiveness while reducing overall cost of ownership, Oracle said.

Shares of Acxiom (Nasdaq: ACXM) closed Monday at $22.19, up 71 cents.
