Governor announces appointments to state panels

LITTLE ROCK - Gov. Mike Beebe announced 18 appointments to Arkansas boards and commissions Monday.

Those appointed: ?

-Brandi Anderson of Sherwood reappointed to the Petroleum Storage Tanks Advisory Council. Her term expires Dec. 31, 2010.

-Aubrey Blackmon of Houston to replace Leland Jackson on the Arkansas Beef Council. His term expires March 30, 2010.

-Daniel Broughton of Jacksonville to replace Joseph Lansden on the Arkansas Home Inspector Registration Board. His term expires Jan. 26, 2009.

-J. Steven Clark of Fayetteville to the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission. He serves at the will of the governor. ?

-Dan Crawford of El Dorado to replace Kenneth White on the Petroleum Storage Tanks Advisory Council. His term expires Dec. 31, 2011.

-Sarah Easley of Forrest City to replace Lanatter Fox on the Arkansas Arts Advisory Council. Her term expires June 30, 2007.

-Dr. Willie Hardin of Conway reappointed to the Criminal Justice Institute Advisory Board. His term expires Jan. 14, 2011.?

-Tony Hodge of Murfreesboro to replace Terry Beavers on the Marine Sanitation Advisory Committee. His term expires Oct. 5, 2009.

-Catherine Johnson of Little Rock to replace Ted Dickey on the Arkansas Ethics Commission. Her term expires Dec. 31, 2011.

-Ronald Keltner of Maumelle reappointed to the Petroleum Storage Tanks Advisory Council. His term expires Dec. 31, 2010.

-Kevin Lorenz of Midway to replace Robert Griffith on the Marine Sanitation Advisory Committee. His term expires Oct. 5, 2010.

-David Lucas of Newport to replace Martin Montgomery on the Criminal Justice Institute Advisory Board. His term expires Jan. 14, 2011.

-Tracey Rancifer of Little Rock to replace Nathan Angel on the Arkansas Home Inspector Registration Board. Her term expires Jan. 26, 2009.

-Bill Sheets of Sherwood to replace Gregory Quinney on the Arkansas Home Inspector Registration Board. His term expires Jan. 26, 2009.

-Dr. John Simpson of Hot Springs to replace Randy Quillin on the Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission. His term expires March 29, 2011.

-James "Buddy" Smith of Springfield reappointed to the Arkansas Beef Council. His term expires March 30, 2010.?

-Allen Stewart of Mena to replace James Rhein on the Arkansas Beef Council. His term expires March 30, 2010.

-William Thompson of Cabot reappointed to the Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission. His term expires March 29, 2011.
