Top Dillard's execs paid $15.3 million in 2006 Wednesday, Apr 25, 2007 Arkansas News Bureau LITTLE ROCK - Top executives at Dillard's Inc. received a total of $15.3 million in 2006, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The annual proxy, released late Monday, more clearly outlines executive compensation than prior years did because of new SEC reporting guidelines. The highest paid executive, CEO William Dillard, II, earned $4.3 million last year. The figure includes $770,000 in base pay, a $2.4 million bonus and $1.1 million in stock awards, deferred compensation and other compensation. Dillard's president Alex Dillard received $680,000 in base pay, plus a $2.4 million bonus and $966,894 in additional compensation. Executive vice presidents Mike Dillard and Drue Corbusier received a total of $2.26 million and $2.31 million, respectively. Chief financial officer James Freeman received $2.18 million. Shares of Dillard's (NYSE: DDS) closed Tuesday at $34.87, down 44 cents. |
