Beebe appoints 13 to state panels

LITTLE ROCK - Gov. Mike Beebe announced the following 13 appointments to Arkansas boards and commissions Thursday:

-Cheryl Chapman of Little Rock to replace Wendell Grubb on the Arkansas Service Commission. Her term expires Jan. 14, 2010.

-Dianne Curry of Little Rock reappointed to the Arkansas Service Commission. Her term expires Jan. 14, 2010.

-Phyllis Haynes of Little Rock to replace Joe Thurman on the Arkansas Service Commission. Her term expires Jan. 14, 2010.

-JoAnna Kyle of Little Rock to replace Mindy Dees on the Arkansas Service Commission. Her term expires Jan. 14, 2010.

-Martha Pineda of Monroe reappointed to the Arkansas Service Commission. Her term expires Jan. 14, 2010.?

-Bettye Proctor of Forrest City to replace Gene Summers on the Arkansas Service Commission. Her term expires Jan. 14, 2008.

-Mary Riley of Wynne to replace Beth Garison on the Arkansas Service Commission. Her term expires Jan. 14, 2010.

-Terry Dabbs of Stuttgart to replace Dale Hawkins on the Arkansas Seed Arbitration Committee. His term expires March 1, 2011.

-Rodney Dunn of Cabot to replace Holbert Hill on the Criminal Detention Facility Review Committee, Judicial District 23. His term expires Jan. 14, 2011.

-Nathan Gregory of Augusta to replace Kevin Hoke on the Arkansas Seed Arbitration Committee. His term expires March 1, 2011.

-Terry Jones of Fayetteville to replace Thomas Linthicum on the Criminal Detention Facility Review Committee, Judicial District 4. His term expires Jan. 14, 2011.

-Linda Powell of Lepanto to replace M.G. Smith as Poinsett County Quorum Court justice of the peace, District 10. Her term expires Dec. 31, 2008.

-James Smalley of Little Rock to replace Margery Tucker on the Home Health Care Service Advisory Council. His term expires June 30, 2007.
