Beebe names HIV/AIDS Minority Task Force members

LITTLE ROCK - Gov. Mike Beebe announced 19 appointments to the new Arkansas HIV/AIDS Minority Task Force on Friday.

Created by Act 842 of 2007, the panel will study how to improve prevention and treatment of HIV and AIDS in Arkansas' minority communities.

Task force members:

-Rueben Arana, Rick Collins, Youmna El-Sabaa, Dr. Barbara Perry, Lupita Roy-Rasheed, Dr. Katherine Stewart and Dr. Wynona Bryant-Williams, all of Little Rock.

-Chinetta Davis, Sharen Lightsey, Sylvana Niciteretse and Gail Stephens, all of Pine Bluff.

-Johnny Adams of Chidester.

-Carol Davis of Malvern.

-Tere Roderick of Tillar.

-Vickie Gibbs-Scott of Crossett.

-Dr. Michelle Smith of North Little Rock.

-Dr. Wallace "Al" Thomas of Hot Springs.

-Suzann Wilson of Jonesboro.

-Sue Worsham of El Dorado.

Expiration dates for all positions will be determined by the drawing of lots.
