LITTLE ROCK - Gov. Mike Beebe announced 24 appointments to state boards and commissions on Friday.

Those appointed:

-Dr. Omar Atiq of Pine Bluff to replace Dr. David Jacks on the Arkansas State Medical Board. His term expires Dec. 31, 2013.

-Susan Bryant of Malvern to replace Teri Cox on the Advisory Council for the Education of Gifted and Talented Children. Her term expires July 20, 2010.

-Dr. Jim Citty of Searcy to replace Dr. John Bell on the Arkansas State Medical Board. His term expires Dec. 31, 2009.

-Lisa Ferrell of Little Rock to replace Lois Burks on the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. Her term expires Jan. 14, 2012.

-Mary Flowers of Pine Bluff to replace Lynn Mouden on the State Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board. Her term expires July 31, 2010.

-Claude Graves of Walcott as Greene County constable, Shady Grove Township. His term expires Dec. 31, 2008.?

-Roger Harmon of Jonesboro to replace Bobbye Dennis on the Arkansas State Medical Board. His term expires Dec. 31, 2013.

-Dr. Lyman Harris of Russellville to replace William Garner on the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling. His term expires Dec. 1, 2010.

-Paul Harvel of Little Rock to replace Lane Jean on the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. His term expires Jan. 14, 2012.

-Karen Hollenbeck of Fort Smith to replace Sharon Knight on the State Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board. Her term expires July 31, 2010.

-Dr. Walter Kimbrough of Little Rock to replace Martha McCaskill on the Arkansas Access to Justice Commission. His term expires Oct. 15, 2010.

-Randy McNulty of Pine Bluff reappointed to the Contractors Licensing Board. His term expires Dec. 31, 2012.?

-Edgar Mersiovsky of Conway reappointed to the Arkansas State Board of Registration for Professional Soil Classifiers. His term expires Nov. 1, 2012.?

-Nancy Monroe of Little Rock to replace Randall Ray Hickerson on the War Memorial Stadium Commission. Her term expires Jan. 16, 2015.

-Debbie Murphy of Little Rock to replace Shawna Oliver on the Advisory Council for the Education of Gifted and Talented Children. Her term expires July 20, 2008.

-Marilyn Nabholz of Conway to replace Kurt Hetherington on the Advisory Council for the Education of Gifted and Talented Children. Her term expires July 20, 2010.

-Lynn Parker of Little Rock to replace Carolyn Shry on the Advisory Council for the Education of Gifted and Talented Children. Her term expires July 20, 2010.

-Mary Ragston of Little Rock to replace Andrew Kelly on the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling. Her term expires Dec. 1, 2010.

-Steve Russell of Little Rock reappointed to the Contractors Licensing Board. His term expires Dec. 31, 2012.?

-Greg Sanson of Conway to replace Jammy Turner on the Arkansas Manufactured Home Commission. His term expires Sept. 1, 2012.

-Dan Sullivan of Jonesboro to replace Pauline Brakebill on the State Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board. His term expires July 31, 2010.

-Doris Tate of Greenwood to replace Mary Lou Slinkard on the State Board of Election Commissioners. Her term expires May 28, 2009.

-Garry Teeter of Bryant to replace J.D. Stake on the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling. His term expires Dec.r 1, 2010.

-Matt White of Russellville to replace Bob Clifton on the Arkansas Manufactured Home Commission. His term expires Sept. 1, 2012.
