Acxiom to consolidate campuses Friday, Feb 29, 2008 Arkansas News Bureau LITTLE ROCK - Acxiom Corp. plans to relocate 240 employees to consolidate four Central Arkansas locations into two in a cost-saving move. About 40 employees from the database firm's Riverdale office in Little Rock will move to its downtown River Market headquarters, while 200 workers in West Little Rock will relocate to either the River Market location or Acxiom's Conway campus, the company said late Wednesday. "This move from the two buildings resulted from a close look at all physical resources and determining their most cost-effective and cost-efficient use," Acxiom CEO John Meyer said. "We're fortunate to have capacity at the River Market and in Conway to make that possible." Shares of Acxiom (NasdaqGQ: ACXM) closed Thursday at $13.21, down 13 cents. |
