Governor announces 22 appointments

LITTLE ROCK - Gov. Mike Beebe announced 22 appointments to state boards and commissions Monday.

Those appointed:

-Joe Peacock, McCrory, replaces Lynn Story on the state Parole Board. His appointment expires January 14, 2015.

-Leila Alston, North Little Rock, reappointed to the Breast Cancer Control Advisory Board. Her appointment expires Jan. 1, 2012.

-Bill Barnes, Mount Ida, reappointed to the State Parks, Recreation and Travel Commission. His appointment expires Jan. 14, 2014.

-Sondra Bedwell, Texarkana, replaces Elizabeth Coleman on the Breast Cancer Control Advisory Board. Her appointment expires January 1, 2012.

-Marion Butler, Sherwood, replaces Versia Miles on the Black History Commission. The appointment expires Jan. 4, 2015.

-Curtis Craft, Hot Springs, replaces Curtis Sykes on the Black History Commission. His appointment expires Jan. 14, 2009.

-Dale Dixon, White Hall, replaces Russell Pendergraft on the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission. His appointment expires Jan. 14, 2015.

-Dennis Donahou, Combs, replaces Bryan Hood on the Arkansas Rural Development Commission. His appointment expires December 31, 2012.

-Conner Eldridge, Arkadelphia, replaces larry Kircher on the Arkansas Interest on Lawyers' Trust Account Foundation Board of Directors. His appointment expires Sept. 30, 2012.

-Lloyd Franklin, Pine Bluff, replaces Esau Watson on the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy. His appointment expires Sept. 17, 2012.

-Tony Ferguson, Beebe, replaces Bruce Leggitt on the Arkansas Rural Development Commission. His appointment expires Dec. 31, 2012.

-Dr. Rhonda Henry-Tillman, Little Rock, replaces Dr. Laura Hutchinss on the Breast Cancer Control Advisory Board. Her appointment expires Jan. 1, 2012.

-Thomas Knapp, Leslie, replaces David Branscum on the Arkansas Delta Development Commission. His appointment expires Aug. 1, 2010.

-Norman Klappenbach, Kingsland, reappointed to the Public Health Advisory Board. His reappointment expires Nov. 1, 2013. Bob Knight, Mountain Home, reappointed to the State Parks, Recreation and Travel Commission. His appointment expires Jan. 14, 2014.

-Bob Lucky, McGehee, replaces Arnell Washington on the Arkansas Rural Development Commission. His appointment expires Dec. 31, 2012.

-David Malone, Fayetteville, replaces Thomas Scott on the state Library Board. His appointment expires Oct. 18, 2012.

-Vivian Meins, DeWitt, replaces Les Partridge on the Long appointment Care Facility Advisory Board. Her appointment expires Oct. 15, 2012.

-Capi Peck, Little Rock, replaces Marc Hogue on the Public Health Advisory Board. The appointment expires Nov. 1, 2013.

-Ness Sechrest, West Memphis, reappointed to the State Parks, Recreation and Travel Commission. The appointment expires Jan. 14, 2014.

-Margaret Staub, Helena, reappointed to the Arkansas Interest on Lawyers' Trust Account Foundation Board of Directors. Her appointment expires Sept. 30, 2012.

-Kelley Webb, Jonesboro, replaces George Bruen on the Arkansas Delta Development Commission. The appointment expires Sept. 1, 2010.
