Governor announces 27 appointments

LITTLE ROCK - Gov. Mike Beebe announced 27 appointments to state boards and commissions Tuesday.

They included:

-Steve Case of Batesville reappointed to the Boiler Advisory Board. His appointment expires Jan. 14, 2012.

-David Hallman of Eudora replaces Larry Armstrong on the Chicot County Quorum Court, District 7. His appointment expires Dec. 31.

-Dr. Laura Hutchins of Little Rock replaces Stella Hart on the Breast Cancer Control Advisory Board. Her appointment expires Jan. 1, 2009.

-Richard Mille of Fort Smith reappointed to the Boiler Advisory Board. His appointment expires Jan. 14, 2012.

-Greg Quinney of Hot Springs replaces Don Loudon on the Arkansas Home Inspector Registration Board. His appointment expires Jan. 26, 2010.

-Lydia Reynolds of Bauxite reappointed to the Arkansas Home Inspector Registration Board. Her appointment expires Jan. 26, 2010.

-Ed Seay Jr. of Dardanelle replaces Donna Lyons on the Yell County Quorum Court, District 10. His appointment expires Dec. 31.

-Marty Shell of Fort Smith replaces Buck Shell on the Arkansas River Basin Interstate Committee. He serves at the will of the governor.

-Craig Stephenson of Eudora replaces J. Alton Fryer on the Chicot County Quorum Court, District 9. His appointment expires Dec. 31.

-Valerie Watson of Bella Vista replaces Amber Eckert on the Criminal Detention Facility Review Committee, Judicial District 19 West. Her appointment expires Jan. 14, 2012.

-Artee Williams of Sherwood reappointed to the Arkansas Public Employees Retirement System Board of Trustees. His appointment expires March 9, 2014.

-Bradley Williams of Little Rock reappointed to the Arkansas Home Inspector Registration Board. His appointment expires Jan. 26, 2010.

Appointed to the state Rehabilitation Council:

-Travis Beebe of Ward replaces Mary Ann Sullivan. His appointment expires Feb.1, 2009.

-Lynn Carver of Springdale replaces Rhonda Young. The appointment expires Feb. 1, 2010.

-Staci Croom-Raley, Maumelle replaces Jim Bradshaw. Her appointment expires Feb. 1, 2011.

-Daniel Holland of Little Rock replaces Kelley Williams. His appointment expires Feb.1, 2010.

-Greggory Lawrence of Magnolia replaces Wesley Eddington. His appointment expires Feb. 1, 2010.

-Mary McClain of Van Buren replaces Edward Norwick. Her appointment expires Feb. 1, 2009.

-Michael McCreight of Bryant replaces Dale Hoff. His appointment expires Feb. 1, 2011.

-Eddie Miller of North Little Rock reappointed. His appointment expires Feb. 1, 2010.

-Rev. Mary "Bean" Murray of Little Rock replaces Jason Sasser. Her appointment expires Feb. 1, 2009.

-Bronwyn Palmer of Little Rock reappointed. The appointment expires Feb. 1, 2010.

-Myrtle "Ruth" Pellow of Crossett replaces Traci Ketchum. Her appointment expires Feb. 1, 2011.

-Kyle Sharp of Harrison reappointed. His appointment expires Feb. 1, 2011.

-Freddie Smith of Fulton reappointed. His appointment expires Feb. 2009.

-Eric Treat of Conway replaces Bobby Brown. His appointment expires Feb. 1, 2010.

-Dianna Varady of Little Rock replaces Christy Holt. Her appointment expires Feb. 1, 2011.
