BREAKING NEWS: Magic Springs & Crystal Falls sold Tuesday, Jun 10, 2008 By Jason Wiest The company that owns and runs seven former Six Flags theme parks is the new owner of Magic Springs & Crystal Falls in Hot Springs. The announcement came this morning that Jacksonville, Fla.-based PARC Management LLC, is the new owner. Terms of the transaction weren't disclosed. The com-pany last year bought the Six Flags properties for more than $300 million. Magic Springs & Crystal Falls general manager Dan Aylward will continue in his currnet position, PARC Management officials said. Season passes from each PARC Management property will be accepted at all eight parks, excluding parks within the same city and surrounding area, company officials said. The parks nearest to Hot Springs are Frontier City in Oklahoma City and White Water Bay in Oklahoma City. The company's only Texas property is in Houston. |
