N.E.W. to add 120 work-at-home jobs in Jonesboro Thursday, Jun 26, 2008 Arkansas News Bureau LITTLE ROCK - N.E.W. Customer Service Companies Inc. announced Wednesday it would add 120 work-at-home customer representative jobs in the Jonesboro area in the coming year troubleshooting technical problems for DIRECTV customers. Company officials said the jobs would pay $9 per hour. Earlier this month, NEW announced plans to open a brick-and-mortar contact center in Russellville that will employ 250 people. Jonesboro was chosen because of the city's warm reception, infrastructure and strong work force, company officials said. "We appreciate the company choosing to locate these new jobs in Arkansas and look forward to N.E.W.'s continued growth in our state," Arkansas Economic Development Commission director Maria Haley said. |
