Governor announces 13 appointments

LITTLE ROCK - Gov. Mike Beebe announced 13 appointments to state boards and commissions Tuesday.

They include:

-James Brotemarkle of Paragould replaces Jason Camp on the Greene County Quorum Court, District 5. His appointment expires Dec. 31.

-Carole Bulloch of Monticello replaces Robin McClendon on the Mississippi River Parkway Commission. The appointment expires June 8, 2013.

-Marty Casteel of Pine Bluff replaces Shirley Williams on the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Board of Visitors. The appointment expires Jan. 14, 2015.

-Dr. Torrance Walker of Pine Bluff replaces Leon Randolph on the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Board of Visitors. His appointment expires Jan. 14, 2014.

-Judge Tom Catlett of Clarendon to the State Employment Security Advisory Council. He will serve at the will of the governor.

-Ralph Keen of De Queen replaces Tom Cooper as prosecuting attorney for Judicial District 9 West. His appointment expires Dec. 31, 2008.

-Ron Ocker Sr. of Van Buren reappointed to the State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. His appointment expires June 1, 2011.

-Weldon Roberts of Paragould replaces Margaret Thompson on the Arkansas State Board of Chiropractic Examiners. His appointment expires June 9, 2013.

- LaWarn Rodgers of Arkansas City to the State Employment Security Advisory Council. The appointee serves at the will of the governor.

-Phyllis Stinson of Clarendon replaces Anna Grizzle on the Mississippi River Parkway Commission. Her appointment June 8, 2013.

-Thomas Taylor of Batesville replaces Mark Ungerank on the Arkansas State Board of Chiropractic Examiners. His appointment expires June 9, 2013.

-Donald Warren of Pine Bluff replaces Frank Hash on the State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. His appointment expires June 1, 2011.

-Terry Woodard of Wynne replaces Effie Clay on the State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. His appointment expires June 1, 2011.
