Beebe names 23 to state boards and commissions

LITTLE ROCK ? Gov. Mike Beebe on Tuesday announced 23 appointments to state boards and commissions.

Those appointed:

-Jordan Brown of Alma to replace Joey Smith on the Arkansas Board of Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies. The appointment expires May 26, 2012.

-Glenna Butler of North Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Towing and Recovery Board. The appointment expires June 22, 2011.

-Dr. Ann Early of Fayetteville, reappointed to the State Review Committee for Historic Preservation. The appointment expires June 30, 2012.

-Elaine Eckert of Pine Bluff replaces Mary Smith on the Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission. Her appointment expires Jan. 14, 2014.

-Wayne Edwards of Lake Village, reappointed to the Arkansas Towing and Recovery Board. His appointment expires June 22, 2011.

-Gary Ferrell of Benton, reappointed to the Board of Electrical Examiners of the State of Arkansas. His appointment expires June 15, 2012.

-Noel Foster of White Hall replaces Darrell Hayes on the Arkansas Towing and Recovery Board. His appointment expires June 22, 2009.

-Jackie Henderson of White Hall, reappointed to the Arkansas State Occupational Therapy Examining Committee. The appointment expires March 1, 2013.

-Larry Jayroe of Forrest City, reappointed to the State Plant Board. His appointment expires March 17, 2010.

-Donna Jones of Fordyce, reappointed to the State Review Committee for Historic Preservation. Her appointment expires June 30, 2012.

-Randy Matthews of Little Rock replaces Hugh Brewer on the Board of Electrical Examiners of the State of Arkansas. Appointment expires June 15, 2012.

-Carl Miller Jr. of Little Rock, reappointed to the State Review Committee for Historic Preservation. His appointment expires June 30, 2012.

-Nancy Streit of Alexander replaces Michael Lundy on the Social Work Licensing Board. Her appointment expires June 30, 2011.

-Sandra Taylor of Jonesboro, reappointed to the Social Work Licensing Board. Her appointment expires June 30, 2011.

-Randy Veach of Manila, reappointed to the State Plant Board. The appointment expires March 17, 2010.

-Kelley Williams of Horseshoe Bend, reappointed to the Social Work Licensing Board. The appointment expires June 30, 2011.

Appointees to the Governor's Commission on People with Disabilities:

-Dr. Nancy Carlson of Hot Springs Village replaces Susanna Osburn.

-Christopher "Flint" Fears of Little Rock replaces Barbara Reed.

-Cleon Green of Nashville replaces Robert Ariza.

-Dr. James Hunt of Little Rock replaces Evelyn Bradford.

-Kenneth "Bill" Keltner of Little Rock replaces Nicolas Sicora.

-Martha DeWoody of Hope reappointed.

-Bill Duvall of Mayflower reappointed.

All appointments to the commission expire June 1, 2011.
