Governor announces 27 appointments Friday, Aug 22, 2008 Arkansas News Bureau LITTLE ROCK - Gov. Mike Beebe announced 27 appointments to state boards and commissions Thursday. Those appointed: - Delores "Dee" Edie of Malvern to the Ouachita Technical College Board of Trustees, replacing Kristi Norris. Her appointment expires July 1, 2012. - Keith Harmon of Batesville to the Independence County Quorum Court, District 2, replacing Kerry Phillips. His appointment expires Dec. 31. - Jean Harper of Malvern to the Ouachita Technical College Board of Trustees, replacing Ray Ollar. The appointment expires July 1, 2015. - JoAnn Mangione of Hot Springs to the Arkansas State Board of Acupuncture and Related Techniques, replacing Therese Free. Her appointment expires July 31, 2011. - Jerry Moore of Blytheville to the Blytheville-Gosnell Regional Airport Authority, replacing William Tomlinson. His appointment expires Nov. 1, 2010. - Dr. Jon Norcross of Lonoke to the Arkansas State Board of Acupuncture and Related Techniques, replacing Dr. John Theus. His appointment expires July 31, 2011. - Joe Sasser of Crossett to the Ashley County Quorum Court, District 6, replacing Carl Vorhease. His appointment expires Dec. 31. - John Scott of Springdale to the Northwest Technical Institute Board of Directors, replacing Joyce Reed. His appointment expires June 30, 2013. - Steven Son of Osceola to the Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources Advisory Committee, replacing Donna Bone. His appointment expires July 31, 2010. - Dr. Rene Sparrow of North Little Rock reappointed to the Arkansas State Board of Acupuncture and Related Techniques. The appointment expires July 31, 2011. - Dr. Duane Thomas of Siloam Springs reappointed to the Veterinary Medical Examining Board. His appointment expires March 1, 2013. - Dr. Joe Thompson of Little Rock reappointed to the State and Public Life and Health Insurance Board. His appointment expires April 8, 2012. - Michael Booth of Magnolia to the Arkansas Child Abuse, Rape and Domestic Violence Commission, replacing Karl Mounger. His appointment expires July 1, 2010. - Larry "Rob" Combs of Hoxie to the Arkansas Child Abuse, Rape and Domestic Violence Commission, replacing Carie Bartholomew. His appointment expires July 1, 2010. - Pamela Davidson of Searcy reappointed to the Arkansas Child Abuse, Rape and Domestic Violence Commission.
