Roby Brock

Roby Brock is the host and executive producer of Talk Business, Arkansas only television program dedicated to business, politics, and public affairs.Ê Talk Business entered its sixth season of programming in 2005 and now airs on KLRT-Fox 16 in Central Arkansas and UPN Arkansas in Northwest Arkansas.

Six nights a week, Brock reports on Fox 16s News at 9.Ê His "First Money" segment recaps the biggest business news of the day, Sunday through Friday.Ê Our weekly columns in The Southwest Times-Record, The Morning News of Northwest Arkansas, and The Benton Courier have extended Talk Business influence statewide.

Brock, 39, has an extensive background in private enterprise and the public arena.Ê He has started and managed several small businesses and has a wide array of experience in business planning, financial management, media relations, marketing and PR.

In the public sector, Brock has served on the staff of the Governor of Arkansas, has headed a state agency, and worked behind the scenes in scores of political and public affairs campaigns.Ê He has been involved in legislative and political affairs for over a decade.

Today, Brock is the founder and president of River Rock Communications, which produces Talk Business, and works in other areas of broadcast and non-broadcast video production.Ê In 2000, he won a coveted Society of Professional Journalists "Green Eyeshade" award for his WWII documentary, Survivors, which beat the competition from a thirteen state region.
