HOOVER, Ala. — Don't expect former Auburn running back Michael Dyer to walk on at Arkansas.
Arkansas coach Bret Bielema was asked Wednesday if the Razorbacks would have any room for former Southeastern Conference players on their 105-man roster this season. Bielema is not permitted to address Dyer by name, but indicated the Arkansas native will not have a spot with the program.
"There won't be anything like that," Bielema said.
There has been plenty of speculation about Dyer and Arkansas since the running back told USA Today he would be open to walking on with his homestate school. Dyer — who was the most valuable player of the BCS Championship Game two years ago, chose Auburn over the Razorbacks out of high school.
