HOOVER, Ala. — The Arkansas basketball team learned another piece of its nonconference schedule on Wednesday, when the bracket for the 2013 Maui Invitational was unveiled.
The Razorbacks will open play in the tournament against California on Nov. 25. The game will be played at 2 p.m. and televised by ESPN2. The Golden Bears went 21-12 last season and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament, losing to Syracuse.
The Maui Invitational will be held from Nov. 25-27. The rest of the eight-team field includes Syracuse, Minnesota, Baylor, Dayton, Gonzaga and host Chaminade. Teams will play three games apiece. Arkansas' second game will be played against either Syracuse or Minnesota on Nov. 26.
The Maui Invitational schedule also includes opening games on campus for each team.
Arkansas will play Louisiana on Nov. 15 in Bud Walton Arena with tipoff time to be determined.
