FAYETTEVILLE — Former Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson has signed with the Oakland Raiders.
Oakland general manager Reggie McKenzie announced Wilson's signing Tuesday. Wilson was the team's fourth-round draft pick in April.
The Greenwood native is competing with former LSU quarterback Matt Flynn and former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor for the starting job this summer. Flynn, who signed with the team in the offseason after being the backup to rookie Russell Wilson in Seattle last season, is projected to be Oakland's starter entering the season.
Wilson played in 37 games with 24 starts during his Arkansas career. He set school records in passing yards (7,765) and completions (593).
