LITTLE ROCK — U.S. senators from Arkansas and Texas plan to resolve a friendly dispute over cheese dip with a blind taste test.
The dispute over which state has superior cheese dip began on Twitter between Sens. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., and John Cornyn, R-Texas. To settle the matter, Cotton, Cornyn and Sens. John Boozman, R-Ark., and Ted Cruz, R-Texas, will sample cheese dip from each state and vote for their favorite during a Steering Committee lunch Wednesday.
Arkansas cheese dip will be provided by current World Cheese Dip Professional Division Champion Heights Taco & Tamale of Little Rock. Texas queso will be provided by Uncle Julio’s of Dallas.
