LITTLE ROCK — Greg Kirkpatrick, who served in the administration of former Gov. Mike Huckabee, has been named president of the Arkansas Automobile Dealers Association, according to a news release issued Tuesday from the AADA office in North Little Rock. Kirkpatrick is to begin his duties with the association Jan. 1.
Kirkpatrick held positions in the Huckabee Administration and more recently served as executive director of the Arkansas Motor Vehicle Commission, a post he held for 11 years. Kirkpatrick also serves as an administrative hearing officer for a number of state boards and commissions and from 2011-14 was president of the National Association of Motor Vehicle Boards and Commissions.
Kirkpatrick succeeds Dennis Jungmeyer, who served as president of AADA for the past 38 years.
The AADA is a trade organization that has represented the interests of Arkansas’ franchised new car and truck dealers since 1932.
