LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas Scholarship Lottery players have a new way to win $1 million, lottery officials said Tuesday.
The lottery on Tuesday launched Arkansas Millions, a scratch-off game that costs $20 per ticket and offers four top prizes of $1 million each.
The $1,000,000 Golden Ticket scratch-off game remains available, although the last $1 million prize in that game was recently claimed. Players also can win multimillion-dollar prizes by playing the Mega Millions and Powerball draw games.
Lottery officials also said that throughout the month of January, a special promotion, the 5 Buck Bundle, will allow a player to buy a $3 Powerball ticket with the PowerPlay option and a $2 Mega Millions ticket with the Megaplier option and get a free $1 Natural State Jackpot ticket. All three tickets will be Quick Picks. The promotion is not available from lottery ticket vending machines or if tickets are purchased separately.
Since the lottery launched in 2009, it has provided nearly $700 million for in-state college scholarships to Arkansas students, more than $2 billion in prizes to players and more than $180 million in commissions to lottery retailers.
