LITTLE ROCK — A Dumas man is the latest person to win a $1 million prize by playing Arkansas’ lottery.

Adam Patton won the prize with a $20 Arkansas Millions scratch-off ticket he bought at Dumas Mart on Highway 65 South in Dumas, lottery officials said. He claimed his prize Monday.

Patton told lottery officials he would use the money to take care of his family.

Three $1 million top prizes remain in the Arkansas Millions game, as well as prizes of lower size.

Since its launch in 2009, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has provided nearly $700 million for in-state college scholarships to Arkansas students, nearly $2 billion in prizes to players, and more than $182 million in commissions to lottery retailers.
