LITTLE ROCK — Vice President Mike Pence cancelled a planned public appearance in Little Rock on Friday, the state Republican Party said.

A party official said no reason was given Friday morning for the cancellation of Pence’s scheduled Friday afternoon visit to Little Rock Tours and Travel.

The vice president was scheduled to visit Arkansas on the same day as an expected House vote on a GOP health-care bill supported by Pence and President Donald Trump. The vote was cancelled Friday afternoon, however.
