The Arkansas Medical Marijuana Commission will hold a public hearing 3:30-6:30 p.m. Friday at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock's Bowen School of Law, 1201 McMath Ave., for citizens to submit remarks regarding the state’s medical marijuana program.
A sign-in sheet will be available for those planning to make remarks. This is required in order to be recognized, a news release states. Each citizen will be provided a total of three minutes.
"In regard to time, this will not be a question-and-answer session, but an opportunity to place remarks on the record for the consideration of the Commission," a news release states. "Questions raised within remarks will be addressed at an upcoming meeting of the MMC (date to be determined)."
The location for this meeting seats up to 250 people and the meeting will not be live streamed. Doors to the "Friday Courtroom" open at 3:15 p.m. Friday.
