Mike Evans: His 49-yard reception on the first play from scrimmage put Texas A&M in Arkansas territory right away. His 9-yard touchdown reception a couple of minutes later put the Aggies ahead 7-0.

Brandon Allen: In his first game back from a shoulder injury suffered two weeks ago, Allen passed for 101 yards and a 12-yard touchdown in the opening quarter. He was 2-for-2 on third down passes on the opening drive — the touchdown and a 29-yard pass to Javontee Herndon.

Hunter Henry: The freshman tight end had a 52-yard reception just before the end of the quarter, helping the Razorbacks set up a field goal early in the second.

Johnny Manziel: The reigning Heisman Trophy winner had several highlight-worthy plays in the quarter, but none more so than alluding the Arkansas rush from his blind side and tossing a 7-yard touchdown to Evans.

Zach Hocker: Arkansas’ senior kicker connected on a pair of field goals in the quarter. His 28-yard make pulled the Razorbacks within 17-10 and his 39-yard kick as time expired made it 24-20 at halftime in favor of Texas A&M.

Alex Collins: Arkansas looked content to run out the clock in the second quarter until the freshman phenom made a cut and raced 38 yards into Texas A&M territory, helping set up Hocker’s second field goal a few plays later.

Deshazor Everett: Texas A&M’s cornerback jumped a route and returned an interception 34 yards for a touchdown on Arkansas’ first possession of the second half to extend the Aggies’ lead to 31-20.

Freshmen: Collins rushed for 28 yards and Henry had two catches for 47 yards on a 4-play scoring drive to answer the Aggies’ interception return. Collins’ 9-yard touchdown run pulled the Razorbacks within 31-27.

Run Game: Texas A&M ran every down of a nine-play, 68-yard drive to extend its lead. Trey Williams’ 17-yard touchdown run capped the possession.

Ben Malena: The Aggies’ running back scored his second touchdown with a 1-yard run early in the fourth quarter. It capped a seven-play drive in which Texas A&M didn’t pass the ball.

Collins: His 26-yard run gave Arkansas the ball inside Texas A&M territory and his fourth 100-yard rushing effort in five career games. The Razorbacks couldn’t capitalize, though, turning the ball over on downs with 6:46 remaining.

Steven Jenkins: The linebacker foiled Arkansas’ final chance for a rally, intercepting Allen on first down at the Razorbacks 45-yard line with 2:45 remaining. The Aggies ran the clock out after the turnover.
