LITTLE ROCK — Gov. Mike Beebe announced Wednesday he had appointed 24 people to state boards and commissions.

They include:

—Rosemary Alcon, Ozark, replaces Dana Smith on the Arkansas Board of Health Education. Her appointment expires July 31, 2015.

—Lawrence Berkley of Little Rock, reappointed to the Medical Ionizing Radiation Licensure Committee. His appointment expires July 1, 2015.

—Dr. Christopher Blackmon of Roland replaces Dr. William Traylor on the Medical Ionizing Radiation Licensure Committee. The appointment expires July 1, 2015.

—Rance Bryant of Conway to the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness. The appointee serves at the will of the governor.

—Jim Carroll III of Brinkley, reappointed to the Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board. His appointment expires June 30, 2014.

—Terry Dabbs of Stuttgart reappointed to the Arkansas Wheat Promotion Board. His appointment expires June 30, 2014.

—Paul Dottley Sr., of Monticello replaces Jim Allen on the Arkansas Alcohol and Drug Abuse Coordinating Council. His appointment expires July 1, 2013.

—Charles Ellis of El Dorado reappointed to the Arkansas Child Abuse, Rape and Domestic Violence Commission. The appointment expires July 1, 2014.

—Amanda Harvey of Mountain Home reappointed to the Arkansas Board of Health Education. Her appointment expires July 31, 2015.

—Terry Henson of Benton, reappointed to the Arkansas Local Police and Fire Retirement System Board of Trustees. The appointment expires Jan. 1, 2016.

—Kandi Keith of Hamburg replaces Debbie Shea on the Arkansas Arts Council. Her appointment expires June 30, 2016.

—Everett “Grant” Marshall of Magnolia, reappointed to the Technology Equipment Revolving Loan Fund Committee. His appointment expires June 30, 2015.

—Sabra Miller of Pine Bluff replaces Karen Pugh-Bartosh on the Arkansas Board of Health Education. The appointment expires July 31, 2015.

—Robert Parker of Sheridan, reappointed to the Arkansas Child Abuse, Rape and Domestic Violence Commission. The appointment expires July 1, 2014.

—Michael Richardson of Holly Grove, reappointed to the Arkansas Corn and Grain Sorghum Promotion Board. His appointment expires July 1, 2014.

—Freddie Riley of Alexander, reappointed to the Governor’s Trauma Advisory Council. His appointment expires July 1, 2016.

—Debbie Roark of Lonoke replaces Pamela Davidson on the Arkansas Child Abuse, Rape and Domestic Violence Commission. Her appointment expires July 1, 2014.

—Frank D. Scott of Little Rock replaces John Barnes on the Pulaski Technical College Board of Directors. His appointment expires July 1, 2019.

—Glenda “Sue” Willard of Forrest City reappointed to the Crowley’s Ridge Technical Institute Board of Directors. Her appointment expires June 30, 2017.
