Arkansas CB Will Hines (6-1, 185, Fr.)
Key Statistics: 17 tackles, interception, fumble recovery
Will Hines was pressed into duty a few weeks ago and has settled into a starting job with the Arkansas defense. The Waco, Texas, native has endured his share of freshmen moments, but has played well the past two weeks. He and the rest of the Arkansas secondary will face a much bigger test today, however, against Ole Miss’ passing attack. Receiver Donte Moncrief is quarterback Bo Wallace’s primary target and will test Hines and the rest of the Razorbacks. How well the freshman plays in his next test could have a big say in whether Arkansas can slow the Rebels.
Ole Miss WR Donte Moncrief (6-3, 216, So.)
Key Statistics: 31 catches, 480 yards, 5 touchdowns
Moncrief is Ole Miss’ most talented receiver, leading the team in catches, yards and touchdowns. He ranks sixth in the SEC in receptions a game (4.3) and is seventh in receiving yards (68.6). The sophomore also has enjoyed success against the Razorbacks, pulling in two touchdown catches to nearly help the Rebels upset Arkansas last season. He’ll get a chance to make another big impact against a defense feeling much better about itself after two solid performances. But Moncrief is the best wideout Arkansas has faced since the Texas A&M loss.
