Player/Position Spotlight
Fullback Kiero Small Arkansas estimated the fullback only played 15 or 20 percent of the snaps last season because of his position. But the Razorbacks also believe Small is too good of an athlete to keep off the field that much in 2012. So Arkansas plans to use Small at linebacker, too, giving him a chance to work as a two-way player in camp. Small, who played more linebacker in junior college than fullback, said hes looking forward to the extra work although it means two different playbooks: All my life Ive been playing both ways. And its really exciting to be able to do that on this big of a stage, Small said.

Fact of the Day
Arkansas has 51.5 percent of his receptions (154 catches), 54.2 percent of its receiving yards (2,119 yards), and 61.5 percent of its receiving touchdowns (16 touchdowns) returning in 2012. The numbers suggest Arkansas may not be in such a dire situation when it comes to replacing the Big Three and Marquel Wade. The top two returning receivers Cobi Hamilton and Chris Gragg combined for 75 catches, 1,060 yards and 6 TDs in 2011.
