FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas has plenty of company in its search for a new football coach.
It's a topic we explored for today's papers after five coaches — including Auburn's Gene Chizik — were fired Sunday. You can read the story here. The biggest news among the firings to date, of course, is the fact four Southeastern Conference jobs are open for the first time since 2004. Where each program turns will be intriguing to track the next few weeks.
We'll keep an eye on all the openings around the country here on the blog as the coaching carousel begins to spin.
The plan is to update this list as more programs (and coaches) join in on the fun.
We'll also update when hires are made.
