Arkansas has unveiled pay-per-view costs and information for the season opener against Jacksonville State on Sept. 1.
The pay-per-view telecast can be purchased for $34.95 for cable subscribers and $39.95 for satellite subscribers (Dish Network, DirecTV). The game — as of Aug. 21 Arkansas notes — will be made available in high definition. Fans interested in purchasing the pay-per-view broadcast should call their cable and satellite providers for ordering information.
Scott Inman will handle play-by-play duties for the pay-per-view broadcast with Jimmy Dykes providing color commentary. Former Arkansas running back Michael Smith will be on the sideline for reports during the game.
SEC schools are permitted to offer one pay-per-view broadcast a season under the conference's television agreements. The rest of Arkansas' games will be televised by network affiliates CBS, ESPN or FSN. The Louisiana-Monroe game will be televised by ESPNU on Sept. 18. The Alabama game will be televised by CBS on Sept. 15.
