Arkansas RB Dennis Johnson (5-9, 213, Sr.)

Key Statistics: 27 carries, 161 yards, TD vs. Ole Miss

The senior is coming off the best performance of his career, albeit in a loss, after rushing for 161 yards against Ole Miss. Johnson became the first Arkansas back to top the 100-yard rushing mark in a game this season and was especially valuable considering Arkansas’ struggle in the passing attack. It took awhile, but Johnson has proven to be a consistent weapon on offense this season and will get plenty of opportunities once again today with Knile Davis sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Tulsa LB DeAundre Brown (5-11, 217, Sr.)

Key Statistics: 82 tackles, 13 tackles for losses, 8 sacks

The veteran linebacker has been the key component in Tulsa’s defensive efforts this season. He leads the nation in solo tackles (58) and also is ranked in the top 20 in sacks (No. 9 with eight), tackles for losses (No. 16 with 13) and total tackles (No. 17 at with 82). Brown and Tulsa defense will be keeping a close eye on Johnson today as the Arkansas back tries to put together another solid performance. Tulsa enters the game ranked 26th in the nation in rushing yards allowed (121.1 yards a game).
