FAYETTEVILLE - The NFL Combine later this month will have some familiar faces.

Six former Arkansas players were invited to the event, which will take place February 23-29 in Indianapolis. Quarterback Brandon Allen, guards Sebastian Tretola and Denver Kirkland, tight end Hunter Henry and running backs Jonathan Williams and Alex Collins will take part.

On-field drills and workouts for running backs and linemen begin February 26. Allen and Henry will perform on February 27. Henry is the highest-rated of the six players. He is expected to be the first tight end taken in the draft. Collins is the No. 2-ranked underclassmen running back. Tretola and Kirkland are projected mid-round picks. Allen and Williams are likely to go in the late rounds or sign as free agents.

The combine is an event run by NFL personnel in which players eligible for April’s draft perform physical and mental tests for team and league decision-makers and brass.

Arkansas will host its own pro day for eligible former Razorbacks, as well, but no date has yet been set for that event.
